Someone called me and told me that after looking at Kathy’s website for the first time today, they couldn’t figure out what the site was about. Of course they knew it was about art, but is it about Kathy selling her art, or is it about teaching art? To be fair, the site was just made live only 7-days ago (Dec 5, 2019). But I thankfully took their advice and wrote the below.
About This Site
Kathy Sheppard Artist, wants me to do more than just build another website that sells art. True, you can buy great Fine Art here, but more than that, she wants to teach Buyers, Sellers, and Artist.
- For Sellers: She wants to help them realize the value of the art they are selling by offering them a low cost method of learning the true value before posting it online.
- For Buyers: Rather they buy her art, or art from anther source, she wants to show buyers what to look for, what to buy, and what to walk away from. Fine Art is not simply more décor for the home or office. No, it’s much more than that –it’s an investment. Like any other investment you have to learn what to buy in order to watch your investment grow it’s value. But before that, you need to know the simple things to look for that gives you the best chance of buying a piece now that will outperform all others.
- For The Artist: She loves communicating her skills to other artist. Why? Because much of what she has learned has came from other artist. So we plan to post video tips of Kathy, and perhaps other artist, showing YOU some of the most up to date and innovated ways to create valuable fine Art.
Next, when you subscribe on her site, you’ll be subscribing to all kinds of tips, together with news concerning local art happenings, like, upcoming gallery events -such as local artist shows or workshops offered by the galleries and other places. Or perhaps “open to all artist” events such as, Plein-Air – portrait group happenings – and other things artists would want to know about. You may also post about upcoming Fine Art sales and/or auctions –that our art-buyers would love to attend, and more.
It is our hope that subscribing buyers will become much better informed the next time they look to purchase Fine Art for their home or office.
It is our desire to educate people about where to sell their Fine Art and how to sell it for what it is really worth.
And finally, it is Kathy’s wish to use this site to teach Artists to improve their skills so that Pensacola will become better known as a place where the artist really produces some of the best Fine Art in the country.
